Who are we?
The Prayer Trust is an entirely voluntary network of intercessors. Each believes they are called by the Lord to join with us. There are no paid positions and donations cover the cost of producing our quarterly newsletter Mind The Gap, paper, inks, envelopes and postage etc.
We passionately believe that the answers to the problems in the Commumity are in the Church. The stronger the Church, the more peaceful and God fearing is the Community. Church Leaders are God's representatives to impart light and strength to the local Church who are to be light to the Community. We are passionate about seeing every individual man or woman called of God carry out their mission in God's strength, with joy and a sense of fulfillment, through the prayers and support of the saints.
Presently The prayer Trust has prayer coordinators in many Boroughs in London. Coordinators mobilise intercessors in their borough to pray for the Body of Christ and Her leaders in the Borough. They have regular prayer meetings to accomplish this. We believe the Body of Christ is the ANSWER to the ills of our community.
For this reason, we do not only pray but conduct conferences, local and city wide, to teach on prayer and practical issues that concern leading God's people, mentor, encourage, counsel leaders and their families.
We are also called to warn God's people on the importance of the unity of the Body to win a community to accomplish God's purpose. Our journey is a corporate one. None of us will fulfill his/her destiny adequately without the other part of the body.
We are also concerned about the presumptuous mindset of some Christians towards spiritual warfare. We need to fight spiritual warfare with the laid down principles from the Word of God – we are to praise God and see Him give the victory. In this way we will see more victories and less needless casualties among intercessors.

The vision given us for 2006
- Britain and London are vulnerable
- Through a Banner of Praise God will hide this city under the banner of His love.
We are to go from borough to borough calling the churches together for a day of praise. This is not a Prayer Trust programme but a definite instruction from the Lord.
When praise goes up , victory comes down
When praise goes up, healing comes down
When praise goes up, deliverance comes down
We believe that The Lord of Hosts will go before His Church to build an altar of praise in each Borough after this one day. The Church will be able to come together and carry on keeping the fire of praise burning perpetually in the community and incessantly in each individual.
Therefore, we are seeking the cooperation of every member of the body of Christ in all the Boroughs of London to come out for this call – building AN ALTAR OF PRAISE for the Lord in our community. Judah (praise) is always God’s shield/weapon for His people against His enemy.
